I can see that all the finalist are targetting a single function/department and mainly SMEs. There is no CRM product which is a single platform for all the CRM needs of the organisation. In fact in the last decade inspite of 500+ new CRM products none have been able to compete against Oracle Siebel or a SAP for an ultra scalable CRM say in Bank or an Insurance company with 1000+ users. And though a lot has been written about CRM products and implementation, the fact remains that CRM implementation failure rates have remained consistently high.
