I'm heading to Hong Kong and Singapore for the next two weeks. Sadly, its not a pleasure trip though I KNOW I'll have a good time. This round is for a combination of training for our BPT Partners training seminars - one in Hong Kong and one in Singapore. I'm also going to have a series of meetings in Singapore with my dear friend Mei Lin Fung who runs a very insightful blog with the cool name Customer Connections Eclectic Selections. These meetings will involve government officials and private individuals to discuss an initiative that is very exciting and will be tied to the Singaporean initiative for service excellence begun mid-2005 when mandated from the Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. The initiiative is a huge effort being led by Spring Singapore, the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board for Singapore. Suffice to say the link here tells you how exceptionally interesting their drive to create service excellence is and how cognizant they are of the role of the customer in an experience-based economy/customer ecosystem. I'll fill you in when I can. Watch for lots on the travel including how each of the training seminars is going.
See ya.
