I've been blogtagged by Chris Carfi.
That means that I have to tell you five things about myself that you don't know then tag you're it and pass it on to five bloggers I know who then do the same. Cool and stupid.
Blogtagging is a virtual party game that seems to have stemmed from a blog from Jeff Pulver, not related to the Jeff Pulver of Rearden Commerce fame. Starting to get some viral cred now....
Here's the five things:
- I'm 57 today but I'm still a big baby who owns an XBox 360, Nintendo DS Lite, a PSP and I wish I had a Wii and I play PC games too.
- I hated Ludacris for being so disgustingly pornographic at a concert I took my 11 year old niece to back in 1999 (and I'm no prude at all) but now think he's a really good actor because of his amazing turn in Crash.
- Chris Carfi said he howled with laughter when he read Lamb by Christopher Moore on a plane. I did too. Just not on a plane. And laughed hard enough to choke at times is probably a closer analogy for me.
- I actually like the Mets and don't hate the Red Sox (don't read too much into that though). You all KNOW that I am a Yankees FANATIC already.
- As 2.0ish and contemporary as I am in my approach, I think that nothing will replace a real book and that Shakespeare is something that all kids should be reading and that everyone should be acquainted well with the literary heritage of their culture and other cultures. And if that makes me stuffy, well, so, I still want that Wii. I lost the Amazon random Wii/PS3 draw this morning though. A draw to have the right to buy one...
Now my five bloggers - tag you're it.
- Brent Leary
- Denis Pombriant
- Charlene Li
- Vinnie Mirchandani a.k.a. Microchandani (he'll get it if you don't)
- Gartner's CRM Bloggers - ALL of them (not sure I can count this as one but I'd LOVE to see them do this...)
Nice to see that you are playing along. Hope you enjoy the game of blog tag.
Best wishes for the holidays.
Best regards, Jeff
