Check out the comment below and link to this. Not only is this another member of the current DreckTV wounded, but her incredibly diligent and creative work came up with the information to reach the SVP of Customer Relations, Ellen Filipiak and the email to reach her. I'm going to do just that. Stay tuned and keep watching the ticker.
Tonight, I'll post a more normal entry. I want to take a look at the fundraising of Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney from the CRM side of this. Plus I have some reviews in the pipe of two companies - CRM Guaranteed and Verticals On Demand, both worth taking a serious look at for various reasons. It's nice to get back to stretching muscles again.
Just finished two days of training with Chris Carfi, social customer guru and partnering with BPT Partners on Social Media. Did it here in DC and I have to tell you, it was AWESOME. I LOVE this stuff. Had some terrific "students." among them this great group from Pure Romance, who are not only spending the time to figure out the whole 2.0 phenomenon and how to apply it to their business but do some remarkable work with breast cancer survivors - and have product lines for even that. As many of you know, my beloved of 26 years, Yvonne is a survivor and cancer free for the last three years, so when I found out that Pure Romance was doing this, I was blown away. Its not just product sales, they are donating time and money to those trying to deal with breast cancer - both literally and those trying to cure it. They are allied with the American Cancer Society in some of their efforts. That's what makes all this teaching I do so fantastic. You learn that humans do the right thing a lot more than not - and that not everything is for business imperatives - even at a business seminar. Great species we're part of, isn't it?

What a great experience, where you find your public and private lives intersecting, for good. My mum had breast cancer.
