About a month ago, I did a seminar sponsored by CRM Magazine and Sage for the Liminal Group, an exceptionally well run events planning and management consulting company. There were two of us speaking - me, of course and the very insightful and remarkably entertaining Penelope Trunk, whose blog, the Brazen Careerist, is a mecca for learning about what Gen Y is thinking and doing in the workplace.
Well, as it works out, there is a rebroadcast of Penelope's talk "Ignite Cross-Generational Sales & Marketing Workforce Efficiency coming up for your viewing pleasure starting today and running free of charge for an entire month. This is worth the time and effort.
My talk on "The Social Customer Controls the Business Ecosystem" is also going to be made available during that time frame but not for free. If you're interested, after watching Penelope, look up at the top of the page and you'll see instructions. The cost of mine is $10.00. I'd pay it, but I already know what I'm going to say.
Minimally, check out Penelope. She's got it down cold on Gen Y. Very cool speaker too.
"The Social Customer is a terrible thing to waste."
